RegloChill – The New Name for Energy-Saving Chillers and Equipment
Regloplas and Industrial Frigo have entered into a joint venture. The combination of our extensive expertise in our fields helps our customers to consistently reduce their costs. The Swiss firm with a long-standing tradition for temperature-control engineering and Italy’s leading manufacturer of chillers are coming together under the name RegloChill to bring a wide range of exciting products to the market. RegloChill has the perfect solution for every requirement, and its chillers and systems offer important advantages: excellent energy footprints, and the reduction in costs that go along with them.
RegloChill combines the strengths that distinguish both companies: quality and flexibility. RegloChill product lines range from mobile chillers with up to 60 kW cooling capacity all the way up to 260 kW chillers that can be combined modularly and expanded for central cooling systems. RegloChill also offers energy efficient air-blast cooling systems with a capacity of up to 1400 kW.
A particular highlight of RegloChill’s range is the patented IES system (Integrated Energy-Saving System). The IES system uses a combination of free cooling and a water-compressor chiller unit. When the ambient temperature is low, in winter, for example, the cooling capacity required can be obtained exclusively by means of free cooling. The chiller unit activates only when necessary, thereby saving a considerable amount of energy.
Under favourable conditions, the IES system can result in energy savings of up to 80%. IES systems are equipped with an integrated tank and pump, and are wired ready for connection, significantly reducing installation and set-up costs.

Regloplas takes part in EU–Project Esprit
We The latest project called, ‘Esprit’, is a collaboration of partners from all over Europe. The aim of ‘Esprit’ is to develop “self-reinforced plastics” (SRP), that permit radical new methods in the production and processing of plastic components. The project will be co-ordinated by NetComposites of the UK and David Lowe, Director Business Development & Key Accounts, will manage the project on behalf of Regloplas, Switzerland.
